Packing a whole lot of brightness into one petito package, Marino Moretti hand-crafted this unique handful of a footed ceramic vase from textural grainy brown clay, finishing it with sunny swaths of yellow and turquoise and a deep cobalt blue interior. As with his other one-of-a-kind pieces pulled forth from this subtly rough clay, there's just enough negative space retained to expose the curious and engaging interplay between glossy and coarse surfaces.
