Italian Artisan Gifts for the Green Thumb

Bellezza's Italian artisan gifts for the green thumb include majolica planters, cachepots and vases for the gardener. Pieces are hand-painted by artisans in Deruta, Italy, or handmade by artisans in Tuscany, in patterns like Arabesco Contornato, Limoni fondo Bianco, Robbiane and Palio di Siena. The high walls and nearly-straight sides of many planters leave room for a plant as deep as it is wide. Planters are designed for indoor and outdoor use, have no drainage holes, and resist rain and sun, but should be kept from ice and snow.
